Thanks for the input everyone! We have talked about it, and we'd prefer to have it on November 21, 2009. We'll scope out some reception venues (Angela in person and Jeff via phone pictures) and try to find a place that is open on Nov. 21st. As soon as we've booked a site, we'll let you all know!
Right now, these are the two places we like the best. This one is beautiful in person but can only be reserved for a few hours.
This one, we haven't looked at in person yet, but it's very inexpensive and can be booked for the whole day.
We're going to look at the second one this week (Angela in person and Jeff via pictures and text messages) since Angela has so many days off. Hopefully we'll make the decision soon so the rest of the planning can begin!

I like both of them. The first place looks really cool, but the second place looks unique (at least to someone from Cali) and you could make it special with your own style.
Cool! I like the date! And that is officially less than a year away so let the countdown begin! Remember, we aren't as far as you think so if you ever need someone to come up and help you work on or decide on ANYTHING, let me know!
I definitely like this date. I will be there :) Can't wait to see the place in February! Good job, bride to be (wife in progress).
